Today is National Tequila Day, and that fact that it also happens to be Monday is a serendipitous event if we’ve ever heard one. Celebrate this extra-festive occasion while bidding Monday adiós by mixing up one of these effortless-but-delicious Palomas from Fat Baby Tacos. The restaurant makes theirs with Tequila’s close cousin, Mezcal, but you can substitute with the tequila of your choice. Salud!
Ingredients
12 oz. Vida Mezcal (or tequila of choice).
18 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
1.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
3 oz. Simple Syrup
12 oz. Club Soda.
Instructions
Add ingredients to pitcher and stir vigorously.
Put a half rim of chile piquin on each 12 oz. cup
Finish with half wheel of grapefruit, cilantro and jalapeno
