Haute Living Celebrates Felicity Huffman with Tanqueray
Haute Living and Tanqueray partnered on Saturday night to celebrate Felicity Huffman, the cover star of Haute Living’s March/April San Francisco issue. An intimate crowd came together at Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles to honor the accomplished and beloved actress. No special lines or roles were needed for the exclusive night and as they say, lights, camera, action and the festivities were live.
Huffman’s background is more than impressive. The Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actress has written a book (A Practical Handbook for the Boyfriend), created a website (WhattheFlicka.com) dedicated to both women and mothers, and was a founding theater company member (the Atlantic Theater Company). It’s seems like Huffman has done just about everything—all the more reason for a celebration.
Right by her side was husband William H. Macy. Like his wife, Macy wears many different hats as well; from actor, to writer, director, and teacher, the two are the definition of a dynamic duo. Guests mingled and sipped on libations, sharing laughs with Huffman who visited each table before the starters made their way out. The well-known Italian restaurant planned out a delicious menu for the special night, which counted on: mozza caprese, baby kale, butternut squah mezzalune, orecchiette (fennel sausage and swiss chard), pesce alla Livornese, and porcini-rubbed Ribeye. Housemade gelato and sorbetto and a bittersweet chocolate cake were the perfect desserts to close out the sweet night.
Notable guests who attended the exclusive night included, William H. Macy, Georgia Macy, Sophia Macy, Haute Living co-founder Seth Semilof, Editor-in-Chief Laura Schreffler, Butch Klein, Austin Evans, Luigi Picarazzi, David Stanwell, Jenna Johnson, Chloe Palka, Ripley Rader, Nicole Isaacs, and Crime by Design.
Seth Semilof took a moment to make a toast to Huffman and her guests, thanking them for a delightful evening. From the food, to the wonderful company, it was truly an unforgettable night dedicated to the exquisite and much loved Felicity Huffman. As it turns out, Huffman is indeed the ultimate American woman.
