Weekend Roundup Atlanta: Brunch Fest and New Vahi Boutique Opening
This weekend, the much anticipated Brunch Fest happened despite the rainy and cold weather and the VIP tickets were the way to go. Unfortunately they sold out quickly but for the lucky ones who did score some VIP passes, they got all the best brunch around town plus early entry, unlimited drinks, access to VIP Chef’s food tent and more.
Imagine the best brunches around the city, all in one place. Items from favorite spots like Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding from Warren City Club and Banana Bread French Toast with Copper and Cones Brandy Sauce, caramelized bananas from Buckhead Diner. Stomach growling yet? That was just the beginning. So much delicious brunches in one place. Not to mention the bloody mary’s, mimosas, beer and wine. All of this yummy goodness took place Saturday March 11 at Atlantic Station. Even if you didn’t make it check out the pictures and find out about next year at their website.
On a shopping note, I happened to be walking around Virginia Highlands this weekend and wandered into the grand opening of a hip new women’s lifestyle boutique, Vernacular. The owners, a cool hipster husband and wife team, have three shops in Ohio but after coming to Atlanta a few years ago, they knew the intown VaHi area was there next spot. The shop was literally packed with people, but I still got a chance to see some of the great items they carry and move very quickly.

The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxed because all of the exciting stuff starts this week. Keep an eye out for coverage on the hautest events, products and all things luxury happening in Atlanta.
