The 500,000 square-foot open-air shopping center will offer more than 70 retailers and eateries, notably Hugo Boss, Bruno Magli, Vilebrequin, Bally, and much more. The vertical shopping experience, spaced into three floors, provides consumers with a spectrum of options, from luxury brands and contemporary retailers, to casual fare and fine dining: “It has been our goal to create a retail center where shoppers have access to a diverse lineup of brands to choose from,” said Courtney Lord, vice president of leasing for Whitman Family Development. With dining options featuring SUGAR and Quinto la Huella, chains such as Pasión del Cielo and Dr. Smood, and some standouts like South African Big Easy Winebar & Grill and New York-based Luke’s Lobster, the same diversity of options is expected for the center’s dining offerings. Brickell City Centre will also host Miami’s first dine-in-theatre experience through a franchise of the Mexican cinema chain Cinemex.

The $1.05 billion project will also boast two condominium towers, two office buildings, and the EAST Miami Hotel. Swire Properties Inc., Brickell City Centre’s main developer, has announced that they are approaching half a billion in sales for REACH and RISE, the complex’s lavish 43-story residential towers. Upon completion, the residences will offer unrivaled amenities and create a mark in downtown Miami’s luxury condominium market.

Brickell City Centre not only revolutionizes luxury in retail and food, but turns Brickell into a sustainable consumer mecca: besides being LEED® registered, the project will also have a $30 million CLIMATE RIBBON™ trellis soaring above it that will act as an environmental management system, able to use nature to cool the outdoor air and enhance consumers’ experience on-site.

Sparing no expense, Brickell City Centre is anticipated to attract consumers from beyond the Magic City and up the standard for residences, offices, retail centers, and the downtown area of metropolises across the country.
