Where To Spend Bastille Day in Miami

News | July 11, 2016

Miami may be known for its overwhelming Cuban and Latin American population, but the amount of French and Francophone residents should not be underestimated. For this reason, we expect the 14th of July to be quite eventful.

Here are a few suggestions to make your Bastille as haute as it can be:

Bastille Day is a French national holiday that celebrates pride and unity, more specifically the storming of Bastille in 1789, a royal fortress prison representative of the hated Bourbon monarchy. The event is greatly celebrated in France, replete with a grand parade along Champs-Elysées, but also around the world.
