The Italian maker of made-to-order suits began in 1945 when master tailor, Nazareno Fonticoli and his business partner, Gaetano Savini opened a shop in Rome. The name Brioni originated from the Croatian island group—Brijuni Islands. They have 25 boutiques world wide with eight in the United States. They’ve got all the important USA regions covered—two in New York, and one in each city; Beverly Hills, Bal Harbour, Costa Mesa, Palm Beach, Chicago and Las Vegas.
