Louis Vuitton Celebrates New Store in Miami’s Design District
Louis Vuitton’s newest three-story maison in Miami’s Design District opened this month, so they threw a grand opening party hosted by President and CEO of Louis Vuitton Americas, Anthony Ledru to celebrate. The façade of the Maison is an abstract representation of the Maison’s iconic Damier pattern, which was designed by Japanese architect Jun Aoki in collaboration with Mirei Uchibe.
The architectural history of Miami Beach was the inspiration for the interior with 1950’s tropical modernist finishes and Art Deco design reflect the tropical location of the store. Clients can expect original artworks by contemporary artists, a gallery space, and a VIP pavilion with landscaped rooftop courtyard; all coming together to create an unparalleled shopping experience.
Louis Vuitton already has a deeply rooted presence in South Florida, which is only being strengthened with their Miami Design District store. Miami local clients and international visitors can shop Louis Vuitton’s signature luxury goods, which range from a unique and comprehensive assortment of Men’s and Women’s travel, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, and accessories. The limited edition crocodile and ostrich Capucines bags in bright, playful colors are definitely one of the highlights.
“As pioneers in Miami’s Design District, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest store in a vibrant center of culture and creativity”, said Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton Americas. “This new store, in the heart of the city, will offer a truly exceptional experience for Miami’s sophisticated clientele. We are proud to present Miami with this architectural gem, extending our relationship with the city which has already existed for more than 30 years.”
