Officine Panerai to Celebrate Sailing Heals with Bal Harbour Soiree
Panerai is set to have a party and give a donation to Sailing Heals in the name of Haute Living Publisher and CEO Kamal Hotchandani.
Rafael Alvarez, President of Panerai North America will be in attendance to host a nautical-inspired evening in support of Sailing Heals 2015 season on Tuesday, April 7. The kick-off is becoming something of an annual tradition since the charity’s inception in 2011.
The luxury watch brand will be making a significant donation in the name of Haute Living Publisher & CEO Kamal Hotchandani, who was instrumental in creating Sailing Heals. “I was fortunate to experience the first inaugural Panerai Sailing Heals VIP Patient sail in New York City, and to be on subsequent ones,” says Hotchandani. “Seeing the joy and relief it gives to the VIP patients has me hooked to this organization. I am a founding board member and happy to assist in bringing this initiative to South Florida and other parts of the country.”
The charity harnesses the soothing power of sailing to benefit patients and their caregivers by taking them out on the water for a memorable day of sailing. They recently hosted their first Children’s Sail in Coconut Grove, with a day dedicated to pediatric patients.
