Vibrant colors and magnificent textures make Ola Kashani’s eponymous swimwear brand a mesmerizing and otherworldly ensembles of sleek bathing suits. Exceptionally feminine in form, the designer’s 2015 resort collection takes its inspiration from the Grecian era.
The new label is based in Dubai and founded and created by Ola Kashani, originally from Syria, but born and raised in the UAE. Ola
studied fashion styling in Montreal and graduated in creative arts in London where she discovered her passion for design.
Based on the principles of a Grecian Queen who is at once beautiful, fearless and confident, the Ola Swimwear collection offers a variety of cuts that complement a range of silhouettes. Each piece is handmade with intricate craftsmanship.
The brand’s 2015 resort collection offers a selection of fashionable bikinis and maillots that come in a variety of vibrant colors and alluring textures combined with monotone fabrics. Ola’s enrapturing one-pieces are sure to lure even those faithful to the skimpy bikini and consist of a stringed bodice in elegant navy and white, a bright orange one-shoulder maillot with asymmetrical cutouts and a black halter neck bodice with corset insertions and a convertible belt to tame troublesome areas.
Exuding a bespoke craftsmanship, Ola’s bikini tops come in a variety of styles and are often weaved, with one shoulder or contain straps for attractive torso wrapping. Some suits come with matching bottoms that are either high-waisted, lotus cut, low cut or contain certain unique elements such as weaving or bon-bon detailing for an edgy look.
The equivalent of a couture bathing suit, this swimwear is a work of art and worthy of starting a collection.
