American designer Michael Kors has opened his first standalone boutique in Beirut, Lebanon.
The 1,361-square-foot store, located in downtown Beirut on Fakhry Bey Street, carries a mix of accessories from the Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL Michael Kors labels, as well as watches, jewelry, footwear and eyewear. The store will also carry a selection of the brand’s fragrances.
“Fashion and style have really become global over the past few years,” says Michael Kors. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to open stores in new regions around the world, and I think Lebanon, which has always been renowned for its sophistication, is the perfect choice for our newest location.”
Michael Kors’ in-house team designed the store to echo the label’s chic aesthetic. It is decorated with zebra-print furniture, sleek metal fixtures and mirrored surfaces. Large-scale, glossy vintage photographs cover the walls, revealing the brand’s jet-set glamour.
