Gregg Covin, Miami’s developer responsible for the new Ten Museum Park Condo and The Anglers hotel in South Beach, is now venturing out to Las Vegas.  He signed a $15 million sales contract for the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. He plans to transform the 110-room hotel, which he currently calls a “smoky dive”, into the city’s first true boutique hotel. He has allocated $10 million in renovations which will include the addition of table games back into the slots-only casino, and a swimming pool. Via Miami Herald
