4 Hot Spots You Must Visit at Jack London Square

Jack London Square has slowly made its way from a sleepy waterfront location to a bustling hotspot sprinkled with hip restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Haute Living had the opportunity to spend a day discovering four gems at this easy-breezy waterfront destination.

Miette Patisserie

Who says desserts can’t come first?  This sweet little dessert shop is a fun-filled, pink and pastel heaven for dessert lovers.  From colorful little macaroons to cupcakes to cookies, these sweet treats are to die for.  And the best part?  Fill a box with a little bit of everything and take it to go!  Desserts taste great the next day, and the day after and the day after that!

Forge

Anytime you combine Neapolitan pizza with a happening sports bar, a gorgeous view, and a fully-stocked bar to boot, then you’ve got a hit on your hands.  This rustic  the quintessential lunchtime destination for locals and visitors alike. Whether or not you’re a pizza lover, it doesn’t matter because Forge has a little bit of everything.  Start with the cheese curds, choose from the long list of creative pizzas, then  And who wouldn’t enjoy that fantastic Marina view?  Done and done.

Bocanova

If you’re looking for a bustling Pan-American dinner scene where dishes span from Mexico to South America and the Mediterranean – and dishes are topped off with fantastic cocktails – then Bocanova is your place. This is a great spot to bring out of town visitors for holidays, celebrations, on First Fridays, Wine Down Wednesdays…you get the idea! Anytime is a good time for Bocanova because the ambiance and staff are excellent.

Rosenblum Cellars

This urban winery is famous for being all about Zinfandel.  They love Zinfandel so much that they make over 20 different types!  Just a short walk across the square, Rosenblum boasts great views, outdoor seating and a bright new modern interior. Step up to one of the two bars and enjoy a tasting of their well known Zins.
