Last night, Haute Living joined a lively crowd of design exhibitors and enthusiasts at Neuehouse in Gramercy.

The event, hosted by Metropolis Magazine’s editorial director Paul Makovsky in a collaboration with the Norwegian Consulate in New York, was held to celebrate all the Norwegian design events going on during this year’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
We admired the bevy of innovative Nordic pieces set against the venue’s sophisticated backdrop, as we sipped on a specially-made Norwegian cocktail and nibbled on cupcakes and caviar-topped hors d’oeuvres.

Among our favorite pieces were carefully-crafted bowls of ash fashioned by Jonas Ravlo Stokke and Øystein Austad; peacock-inspired candleholders by Caroline Olsson; a contemporary pattern-topped table by Hermann Bongard; and sleek, bullet-shaped containers by Everything Elevated.
