Haute 100 NY Update: Chelsea Clinton is Making Film Debut at Tribeca Film Festival
Celebrated philanthropist, political activist, and former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is adding a new credit to her already impressive resume. The 34-year-old daughter of Hillary and Bill Clinton is going to make her debut as film producer next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Clinton is the executive producer of “Of Many,” a documentary short directed by New York University Global Programs Vice Chancellor Linda G. Mills, about the friendship between a rabbi and an imam. The film was inspired by the real life friendship between Rabbi Yehuda Sarna and Imam Khalid Latif. Together, the pair has led classes and events that encourage interfaith dialogue between students and faculty.
Clinton met the duo in 2010 while she was assisting with international recruitment at the university and has remained in close contact ever since. The film will premiere at the end of April.
