Membership Only For Your Face? Yes, at the Erno Laszlo Institute in SoHO
Let’s discuss my new discovery in the heart of SoHO; a perfect mix of luxury, beauty, rejuvenation, art, relaxation and exclusivity. Located in one the City’s most coveted neighborhoods, the Erno Laszlo Institute is member’s only, but I got exclusive Haute access inside. Needed to share…and for a girl who has gotten facials since I was ten years old, it is one of the best experiences I have had in my thirty years of existence.
So here is the story. Laszlo is for members only! Chicness at its finest! How it works? If you are not a member, you can not go, unless your friend is a member. No cold calling for an appointment allowed. What is this membership all about? Well, for an annual $3,000 usd per year, you can have unlimited access to Laszlo treatments, serums, peels and more. Having just reopened, the original Institute was a favorite of the late Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.
I entered their flagship location on West Broadway, and immediately was wowed. From the collection of Lalique crystal displayed throughout the establishment, to the bright lights and magnificent chandelier all at a face-skin oriented operation, I felt home; simply ready to move on in! I was greeted by the lovely Suzanne Price, my aesthetician for the hour and a half service. Not only was Suz a skin expert, she was a wealth of knowledge and explained the history of the brand, the membership structure all while making me look brand new (as I write this item, it is the day after, and my skin does look quite radiant; must have been the UV lights that many celebrities often stop in pre-red carpet to attain the extra glow)!
Membership is quite limited, to keep the Institute exclusive. However, if you are accepted to Erno Laszlo world, welcome to A customized Skin Rejuvenation Program of Nutrition Boosting Facials and Cellular Regeneration Peels focusing on skin correction and maintenance. You also receive $250.00 in Laszilo products for your regiment. Oh, the Institute also offers three-month trial at $1,ooo. Talk about try before you buy!
