Rob Reiner To Receive the Chaplin Award by The Film Society of Lincoln Center

In celebration of his successful acting, directing and producing career, Ron Reiner, will receive the 41st annual Chaplin Award by The Film Society of Lincoln Center this spring.

With credits including When Harry Met Sally, This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride and Stand By Me, and most recently, The Wolf of Wall Street, the 66-year-old Bronx native has made a name for himself in Tinseltown both behind and in front of the camera.

“He’s a master multi-hyphenate who has made some the most enduring and entertaining films in recent history,” Film Society Board Chairman Ann Tenenbaum said in a statement following the announcement earlier this week.

The Chaplin Award has been presented to Hollywood A-listers including Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock and Tom Hanks. Last year, the award was given to New York icon, Barbra Streisand. Reiner will receive the award at a gala held in NYC on April 28.
