Money can’t buy love, but it can buy some pretty extravagant Valentine’s Day treats. Whether you’re looking to spoil your significant other, or heat things up with the flavor of the month, we’ve rounded up some of the most swoon-worthy and over-the-top Valentine’s Day activities to put on your to-do list.
Metropolitan by COMO Valentine’s Day Dual-Destination Getaway
The highly anticipated Metropolitan by COMO is officially opening its doors to guests on Feb. 14. For couples that love luxury (and each other), the hotel is offering a Miami Beach and Caribbean Chic package to celebrate both the day of love and the opening of COMO’s first U.S. property.
Part one takes place at the new hotel and includes accommodations in a Metropolitan Room, Lakeview Suite or Ocean View Suite, a signature COMO Shambhala massage and a Tasting Menu dinner at The Traymore Restaurant.
The second half of the getaway whisks guests away to the hotel’s sister property, Parrot Cay by COMO in the Turks and Caicos, only an 80-minute flight from Miami.
If you want to go all-out for Valentine’s Day, stay four nights in the Metropolitan’s Ocean View Suite and six nights in Parrot Cay’s Beach House. This 10-night package comes in at around $26,000.
db Bistro Moderne’s His and Hers Valentine’s Day Menu
An elegant, quiet ambiance sets the mood for some serious romance at Chef Daniel Boulud’s new restaurant in the JW Marriot Marquis. Offered exclusively on Valentine’s Day, the His and Hers menu consists of four courses specifically created for the romantic evening. Highlights from both menus include Alaskan King Crab, Brillat-Savarin Ravioli and Sunchoke Risotto. Tickets are available at $150 per person, with an added $75 for expertly paired wine selections.
Turn The Lights Down Low at the W South Beach
This ultra-indulgent experience kicks off the moment your plane touches down at the Miami Airport; a helicopter will be waiting to take you to the W, where the penthouse suite awaits. Included in the getaway is a private seaplane tour of South Florida followed by a sunset cruise and five-course dinner aboard a 120-foot yacht and later, a private helicopter tour of Miami’s night skyline. Priced at $55,000 for a three-night stay, the package is available for only two lucky couples.
“Miami Vices” at The Mayfair Hotel
The Mayfair Hotel & Spa celebrates its shared 30th birthday with Miami Vice by creating new packages featuring hit songs from the TV show, designed to score the perfect getaway for lovers.
One package, titled Do You Wanna Get Away, is perfect for couples who are looking for a blend of excitement and romance. Guests will stay two nights in the Nocturne Fantasy Suite, customized to fit the couple’s preferences, experience the Pleasure Paradigm Sensual Retreat, which teaches Tantric harmonizing techniques and a private bedroom photo session.
The Sagamore’s “StupidCupid”
Single Miamians, rejoice! The Sagamore is offering an escape from the most loved and hated holiday of the year with the “Stupid Cupid” party. The package, available all throughout the month of February, includes a two-night stay at the hotel, a bouquet of red (thorny) roses and a complimentary bottle of vodka “to numb the bitterness.”
