Five hundred of Miami’s most influential and philanthropic community leaders will gather at the Mandarin Oriental on Feb. 15 to show support and raise funds for the foster care youth of Miami-Dade County.

The “Be A Voice, Empower Brilliant Futures” Gala is sponsored by The House of Harry Winston, which also supports the foundation with its Hope Collection bracelet and charm. Honorary Gala co-chairs are Voices board members Christian Slater and Brittany Lopez, along with Jim Ferraro and Alena Gavrikova.

The event will feature a fabulous cocktail reception and silent auction beginning at 7 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing. Individual tickets start at $500, with premier seating prices at $1,000.

Voices For Children raises funds so that every abused or neglected child in Miami-Dade County has a court-appointed Guardian ad-Litem to care for them, provide financial assistance and be available for each child’s health, social and educational needs. Voices For Children serves as an advocate for those children who can’t speak for themselves.

Haute 100 lister and philanthropic activist Yolanda Berkowitz is a former Board Chair and active supporter of Voices For Children.

“Voices [for Children] is my baby,” she says. “The impact makes the biggest difference with these kids.”
