Bode Miller and Hublot to Continue Partnership
Looks like we haven’t seen the last of scorching hot Olympic Gold Medalist skiier Bode Miller. Swiss watchmaker Hublot announced on Wall Street that they would renew their contract with the trailblazer for another year, through the 2011 World Championships.
Hublot’s chief executive officer Jean-Claude Biver made the announcement at Cipriani Wall Street, joined by Miller. Miller brought his three medals from the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, where he won a trifecta of gold, silver, and bronze. To celebrate this renewed partnership Hublot will design and produce another limited edition watch for the athlete—the Bode Bang watch, which was created for their initial partnership, sold out. Only 250 were made.
The athlete still has not committed to the 2014 Winter Olympics being held in Russia, but we can count on seeing him race downhill during next year’s World Cup. And, we can all look forward to the release of Bode’s second timepiece.
