The masterminds behind 15 Central Park West are once again collaborating to create a new high-rise at the 10 UN Plaza site. For $160 million, developer Harry Macklowe sold the site to William and Arthur Zeckendorf, co-chairmen of Terra Holdings, and Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings. The Zeckedorfs, who appeared in the Premier Issue of Haute Living New York, are planning to build a super-luxe condominium tower. The newest addition to the Manhattan skyline is expected to rise at least 40 stories, if not more, and as the site faces the UN Sculpture Garden, buyers will be sure to enjoy the impressive views from the 242,000 square-foot tower. Macklowe, who bought the property in 2005, had planned on building there, however, Macklowe states, “While this is a project we had anticipated developing ourselves, Will and Arthur’s enthusiasm convinced us to consider selling it. We are confident they’ll create a beautiful and very successful building.” via NY Post
