Christie’s Private Sales has teamed up with British luxury leather goods brand Mulberry and Town&Country to host a Private Sales Exhibition for Andy Warhol at Christie’s, a multi-year, multi-platform partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

The week-long private sales exhibition in the third-floor gallery space of the Mulberry store in San Francisco features 36 photographs, prints and works on paper by Andy Warhol, many of which have never been seen before by the public, offered at price points ranging from $2,000 to $30,000. These include holiday-themed works on paper from early in the Pop artist’s career when he worked as a commercial illustrator during the 1950s, and several Polaroid prints from the 1980s with subjects ranging from Santa Claus to Cabbage Patch Kids dolls.

Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public. The pop-up is the latest in a series of thematic exhibitions by Christie’s Private Sales and the fifth in the United States in partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Andy Warhol at Christie’s, which launched last year, includes live auctions, online-only auctions and private sales of works from the collection of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, with proceeds benefitting the Foundation’s grant-making initiatives.

“Warholiday” will be launched by socialite and philanthropist couple Alex Mehran and Maggie Rizer Mehran on Thursday, December 12 and co-hosted by Mulberry, Town&Country, and Christie’s.
