On April 21, John A Herrmann, Chairman, JBFCS Board of Trustees, David F. Everett, JBFCS Vice President; and Russell Simmons, Co-Founder of Def Jam, were recognized by The Jewish Board of Family & Children’s Services. The event took place at the renowned Guastavino’s in NYC and featured a cocktail reception and dinner. Those in attendance included Thom Hamill, Amelia Ogunlesi, Linda Payne, Ebony Garris, and Joyce Cowin.

Proceeds from the evening benefited JBFCS’s 175 community based programs, facilities, and treatment centers. The organization serves over 65,000 individuals in New York and is considered the nation’s largest non-profit mental health and social service agency.
