Whatever your dream winter destination may be, take a minute to consider a safari at Molori Safari Lodge; we assure you this isn’t your average African adventure. Formerly a private South African residence and frequented by many heads of state and high profile individuals, the lodge officially opened to the public in October. Set in the 185,000-acre Madikwe Game Reserve, this retreat promises to both pamper and entertain, and is quickly becoming renowned as Africa’s finest resort. There are two 3,800-square-foot presidential suites, and three others, nearly equal in grandeur. All have a Saligna wood deck and infinity pool, and unlike many other resorts, these suites offer enough privacy to actually enjoy the amenities. The interiors abound with crystal chandeliers, Phillipp Plein swing beds, wood burning fireplaces, and Leadwood tree trunks that reach up through thatched roofs, blurring the lines between the comfort of inside, and the wild outdoors. Molori general manager, Greg Lederle leads quests on twice-daily game drives, stalking the wildlife in an open sided Land Cruiser. This is truly a destination that cannot be beat.
