Chicago Loses a Culinary Legend, Charlie Trotter
Chicago has lost one of its gems in the passing of Charlie Trotter. The multiple James Beard Award-winning chef passed away earlier this week and there has been a lot of back and forth over the reasoning. I won’t go anywhere near that, but the fact is that not only Chicago, but the entire world has lost one of our preeminent culinary minds and it’s a sad time. On behalf of Haute Living Chicago, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Trotter family. For people who would like to pay their respects for Charlie Trotter, there will be a memorial, open to the public, Monday (11/11) at 10am at Fourth Presbyterian Church.
