Written and directed by Jason Wise, “SOMM” tells the story of four sommeliers attempting to pass the rigorous and prestigious Master Sommelier exam – the most difficult test you have never heard of.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is one of the first places I filmed SOMM, and the bar there is the spot where Ian Cauble taught us how to understand blind tasting,” said filmmaker Jason Wise. “I am honored to bring SOMM back to The Ritz-Carlton show it surrounded by fine wine, great food, and the cast of the film.”
