Jay Z & Beyonce Are Spending $4 Million on Added Security

After a fan yanked Beyonce off the stage during a recent performance in Brazil, Jay Z is stepping up his wife’s security detail.

“Jay hired five new personal security guards, all former intelligent agents, to accompany the five guards who already travel with Beyonce when she travels,” a source tells TheFIX.

The added security, which includes extra manpower plus two bomb-proof Latvia SUVs, will reportedly cost the couple $4 million. The protective military-grade vehicles are similar to those frequented by President Obama.

“He’s freaked out after what happened on the weekend,” added the insider, “and believes he’ll only feel relaxed if he knows he’s covered all bases for Beyonce and Blue.”
