Carole King to Perform at Alicia Keys’ Black Ball

Alicia Keys‘ foundation, Keep a Child Alive, is gearing up for its 10-year anniversary of helping children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. To mark the monuments occasion, Keys has asked acclaimed singer Carole King to perform at her annual Black Ball.

This year’s star-studded event will take place on Nov. 7 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Since its conception in 2004, the philanthropic gala has raised more than $18.5 million.

Every year, guests are treated to never-before-seen musical collaborations with Keys and other leading artists. Jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers, British soul singer Laura Mvula and opera singer Kathleen Battle are also slated to perform at this year’s inspiring event.
