Dwayne Wade’s Foundation Unveils New Campaign at Gala
On September 6th, Chicagoland native and NBA Champion Dwayne Wade held his Wade’s World Weekend. It was to commemorate 10 years of the organization and hosted some of the city’s most notable people like Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Secretary of State Jesse White and many others. The event also introduced the “Choose to Live, Live to Dream” campaign, which supports youth in underserved communities. I’m always a fan of initiatives such as this and especially proud when one of the city’s native sons is a driving force behind it. By all accounts it was an amazing night and I’m hoping it will help to raise the awareness of the campaign.
