The 2010 Downtown Dinner

The Lower Manhattan Culture Council welcomed guests to Pier 60 for the 2010 Downtown Dinner on April 12, 2010. Michael Imperioli emceed the event, which honored Steve Buscemi and Brookfield for their determination and diligence in breathing new life into the city through their unwavering support of community artists.

Academy Award winning director, Martin Scorcese presented the awards to Buscemi as well as Anita Contini, Melissa Coley, and Debra Simon who accepted the honor on behalf of Brookfield.

Over 600 guests arrived including numerous well-known philanthropists, business, civic, arts, and cultural leaders to one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. There were featured installations by LMCC, LentSpace, Oliver Babin, and @008-2009 Workspace resident Marc Robinson. Those in attendance included Aidan Quinn, Jo Andres, Stanley Tucci, Kate Gilmore, among several others.
