Haute Yacht of the Week: Prince Abdulaziz
For a long time, 22 years to be exact, the Prince Abdulaziz was the logest and tallest motor yacht in the world. She has a length of 147 meters and is regarded today as the largest luxury yacht of the 20th century.[2]
The first owner was the King of Saudi Arabia Fahd of Saudi Arabia. After his death in 2005 ownership passed to his half brother Abdullah ibn Abd al-Aziz.
The yacht was designed by Maierform and built in 1984 by Helsingør Værft in Denmark. The interior designer was David Nightingale Hicks.
