Photos: Alabama Shakes Plays the Pearl at the Palms

One of the most buzzed about bands in the industry, Grammy-nominated band Alabama Shakes, rocked the Pearl at the Palms on Friday night. The group performed “Goin’ To The Party,” “Rise to the Sun” and even pulled out an amazing live version of “Hold On” early on in the set.  Openers New Orleans folk outfit Hurray for the Riff Raff and rock ‘n rollers Fly Golden Eagle prepped the crowd for a night of live music that’s not often found in Las Vegas. A rainy night didn’t keep fans away as they packed the house often cheering and hollering at frontwoman Brittany Howard during songs.
