UJA Federation

The UJA-Federation of New York Gala took place on Friday at the ritzy Pierre Hotel in Manhattan. The organization, which makes daily differences in the lives of more than four million Jewish individuals, celebrated the invaluable work of its integral supporters.

The legendary Columbia Records chairman, Rob Stringer, received star-studded support in a video compilation for his Music Visionary Award. His faithful fans and friends included Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, Barbara Streisand, Simon Cowell, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Patti Smith, Steven Tyler and One Direction. The beloved British songstress, Adele, presented Stringer with his award, her first public appearance since last year’s Grammy’s. Other notable guests included Jay-Z, Neil Diamond and John Legend. In true musical fashion, Haim and John Mayer thanked their label boss in the best way they could: a performance.
