Luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen has collaborated with Selfridges for an exclusive two week pop-up exhibition in the luxury retailer’s Watch Gallery at Wonder Room. The exhibition, which opens on June 24, celebrates IWC’s 2013 Ingenieur watch collection and the manufacture’s partnership with the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team.

The new Ingenieur collection, which was inspired by IWC’s budding relationship with F1, draws inspiration from materials typically used in motorsport, including carbon fibre, ceramic and titanuium. The Ingenieur collection will be on display in its entirety (including the new Ingenieur Constant Force Tourbillon timepiece) alongside vintage Ingenieur timepieces from the 1950s. For the exhibition, the Wonder Room will also be transformed into a virtual wind tunnel with a Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 simulator showcar that will give fans the chance to experience the high-stakes world of F1 racing.

The IWC Schaffhausen pop-up exhibition runs from June 24 – July 7 at Selfridges, located at 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB, United Kingdom. For more information call +44 800 123400, visit the Selfridges website or visit the IWC website.
