Kate Spade Opens Madison Avenue Flagship Store Today
Midtown Manhattan residents are in for a treat! Luxury retailer Kate Spade opened an 8,000 square foot flagship store at 789 Madison Avenue today. The three-floor townhouse is three times the size of the average Kate Spade outlet and features all of the brand’s product categories: handbags, ready-to-wear, fashion accessories, small leather goods, tech accessories, jewelry, watches, shoes, legwear, eyewear, beauty, stationery and home goods.
The flagship location also includes an exclusive Madison Collection, which offers special pieces like an organza bow blouse. The limited-edition collection retails 25% higher than the regular collection.
Although Kate Spade hasn’t ventured into designing wedding gowns (yet!), a section of the store is devoted to bridal accessories including shoes, gifts, jewelry, fine china, bases and frames. The new locale also boasts a VIP salon, luxurious dressing rooms plus a full-service bar.
