Chaos to Couture: the Best Dressed From Punk-Themed 2013 Met Gala
Last night the fashion world converged upon New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Costume Institute Gala. Hollywood’s hottest starlets joined designers, models and fashion elite at the society event, which this year had a rather surprising theme: punk. From the late designer Alexander McQueen to Vivienne Westwood’s alliance with the Sex Pistols, haute couture has a long history with punk. And while Katie Holmes looked, well, nice, and Gwyneth Paltrow was positively glowing in her pink gown, we’ve chosen the Best Dressed who managed to embody the night’s theme, “From Chaos to Couture”.
