The Endometriosis Foundation of America hosted its fifth annual Blossom Ball at Capitale in New York City on March 11 in support of the painful disease that affects more than 176 million women around the world. Following a lively performance by legendary hip-hop musician De La Soul and DJ Miles Guthrie Robbins, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing inside the trendy Lower East side lounge. Hosted by Top Chef judge, Padma Lakshmi, the event highlighted the organization’s efforts to increase disease awareness, facilitate expert surgical training and fund landmark endometriosis research. Notable attendees included EFA co-founder Dr. Tamer Seckin, Susan Sarandon, Debbie Harry, Bridget Moynahan, Gail Simmons, Joel Schumacher and Billy Crudup.
