Art of Fashion 2013 Another Reminder of Chicago’s Fashion Talent

StyleChicago.com is in its fifth season of presenting The Art of Fashion. Twice a year Chicago’s fashion lovers get to see 10 looks from either the Spring or Fall collections of some of Chicago’s best fashion designers. For the Fall 2013 collections, the latest show was held on Friday, April 19, 2013 on the fourth floor of the Museum of Broadcast Communications.

There was a VIP reception prior to the show and an official after-party following the show. Around 600 attendees packed in to see ten of our city’s favorite designers show their Fall 2013 looks including Barbara Bates, Borris Powell, Calvin Tran, Shernett Swaby and more. The show featured models from Factor Runway and was sponsored by PERONI Italy, LUNA Bar and Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Guests of the event sipped on cocktails, wine and premium beer by PERONI Italy, and as far as snacks there were some hors d’oeuvres and RA Sushi provided sushi rolls.

There were beautiful gowns being strut down the runway, including the one above. The Art of Fashion 2013 is just another reminder of the fashion talent we have in this city and also it’s good to see so many people support it. I would personally like to give kudos to Style Chicago for putting on an amazing event and a big congratulations to the designers whose talent and hard work made the show great.
