Sepia to Host Cochon 555 Chef’s All-Star Dinner

Sepia Executive Chef, Andrew Zimmerman, will be welcoming some of Chicago’s top chefs to an all-star collaborative meal, the Chef’s Course Dinner on Friday, April 26 from 6-10PM. The collaborative event will be to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the COCHON 555 tour. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner will benefit the James Beard Foundation.

James Beard Award nominated Chef Zimmerman will share his kitchen with six renowned Chicago chefs including Stephanie Izard (Girl and the Goat and Little Goat), Rob Levitt (The Butcher & Larder), Patrick and Michael Sheerin (Trenchermen), Jason Vincent (Nightwood), Craig Bell (Sub-Zero and Wolf), and Cochon 555 founder Brady Lowe, as they prepare this special culinary treat. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres designed by each chef. An impressive cheese and charcuterie offering from Bar Pastoral and The Butcher & Larder,  paired with cocktails handcrafted by Sepia’s head bartender, Josh Pearson, will kick-off the feast. The cocktail reception is followed by a sit-down, seven-course dinner at 7 p.m., with wine pairings chosen by Sepia Wine Director Arthur Hon and emphasizing the high-quality produce and ingredients available from Chicago’s finest farmers and purveyors. Finally, the evening ends with a sweet treat from Sepia’s pastry chef, Cindy Schuman.

Diners will enjoy a course from each top chef, showcasing their distinct culinary approaches for an unparalleled dinner experience. Each course will be paired with wine, cocktails, or spirits, including those from Anchor Brewing, Crispin Cider, Elk Cove Vineyards, Buty Vineyards, Scholium Project, and Ridge Vineyards. Throughout the evening guests will be guided through the dinner with an introduction to each course by the chefs, as well as a chance to mingle and enjoy the night with Team Cochon.
