Los Angeles-based blogger Emily Schuman has taking her popular lifestyle website, Cupcakes and Cashmere, to a new level with the announcement that the brand will be extending into consumer products in 2013.

According to LA Racked, Cupcakes and Cashmere recently signed with a top brand-licensing agency to produce consumer products this year, though no confirmation has yet been made about what type of products will be released yet.

In August 2012, Schuman released her own book, Cupcakes and Cashmere: A Guide for defining your style, reinventing your space and entertaining with ease. She also has worked with Coach (she designed a bag with in 2010), Forever 21 (she modeled and styled a lookbook for them), StyleMint, Juicy Couture and Estee Lauder.

Schuman began her career working in media at Conde Nast publications Domino and Teen Vogue magazine. She created Cupcake and Cashmere in 2008 as a way to document things she loved. According to the website, Cupcake and Cashmere is a “mantra and aesthetic that celebrates the little pleasures in life. The goal of Cupcake and Cashmere is to encourage and inspire readers through fashion, food, beauty and interior design.”
