Haute Event: Porsche Design Debuts First Handbag With Soiree at Porsche Design Tower
Porsche Design celebrated the launch of its first woman’s handbag at Porsche Design Tower’s stunning Sunny Isles sales center. The Porsche Design Tower is scheduled to break ground next month and promises to be one of the most state-of-the-art buildings on the planet. The tower boasts a totally new and unique elevator system to bring cars up to resident’s condominium units. So, it was exciting for fans of Porsche Design to take in not only the plans for the new construction but also the new TwinBag. The sleek design is convertible, with the ability to be worn as a hand or shoulder bag. The bag is crafted in Florence, Italy with the best materials including ostrich skin, crocodile, calf leather and precious metals like rose gold white gold. Several color and material variations were on-hand for guests to “test-drive” between trips to the bar, which was situated in the opulent marble model kitchen. Porsche Design of America COO Karsten von Engeln and developer Gil Dezer and wife Lorena Dezer were on hand for the party.
