Haute 100 New York Update: Anna Wintour Named Artistic Director of Conde Nast

Anna Wintour is about to get even busier! The 63-year-old editor-in-chief of Vogue and editorial director of Teen Vogue was just named Conde Nast’s new artistic director.

Wintour’s new duties will include developing an overall “creative vision” for the company, which is comprised of 18 consumer magazines, including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Allure and GQ. CEO Charles H. Townsend said via a statement that the promotion comes at a time to “leverage Anna’s extraordinary vision and leadership.”

Wintour currently sits on President Barack Obama‘s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities and is also an elective trustee of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
