Over 550 guests turned out for the New York Junior League’s 61st annual Winter Ball held at The Pierre on March 2. The “Monet at Midnight” themed black tie gala celebrated 112 years of community service and honored seven volunteers (Allison Cooke Kellogg, Barbara Anne Paddock, Shanette Barth Cohen, Gretchen Freydl Jeanes, Crystal Matsibekker, Julie Naughton and Heidi Thompson) for their outstanding contributions.

Following a night of dinner and dancing, guests also took part in live and silent auctions featuring jewelry, vacation getaways, spa treatments and sports tickets. The event also honored former Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of the State of New York, Judge Judith S. Kaye, with the NYJL’s award for leadership and excellence. The award is presented annually to an exemplary businesswoman and philanthropist dedicated to serving her community.
