Shia LaBeouf is walking away from Broadway. The Transformers star had planned to star opposite Alec Baldwin in “Orphans” next month, but walked away from the project on Wednesday “due to creative differences,” producers told the Associated Press.

The play tells the story of two orphaned brothers living in a rundown Philadelphia row house who decide to kidnap a wealthy man. LaBeouf was cast as the role of one of the bothers. Producers said that an announcement regarding LaBeouf’s replacement will be made soon.

The show is slated to open on March 19 at the Schoenfeld Theatre.
