Haute 100 Miami Update: Gloria Estefan and Chayanne Raise Money for Disabled Latino Children

Over 100 Latino superstars including Gloria Estefan, Chayanne, and William Levy,  will come together for the first ever TeletonUSA.  The 28 hour Univision special was organized to raise funds for Latino children with disabilities, cancer, and autism in the U.S.   The program is scheduled to start on Friday, December 14th and will air nonstop from 10p.m. Eastern Time until Sunday 2a.m. Eastern Time.  The stars will share their personal stories about the inspiration that led them to donate their time and talent to the show.  Among the many exciting features of the telecast is the anthem, which Emilio and Gloria Estefan collaborated with Jesus, El Cata, and Lucero to write.  “We are making history, we wrote this song thinking of Latinos all under one flag, one color-united for this worthy cause that will change the lives of so many children with Disabilities in the U.S,” stated Emilio Estefan.  During the telecast viewers have the chance to make donations by a plethora of options including calling a toll-free number at 1-800-298-9999; texting the word telethon to 80888 from any mobile phone; by personally donating locally at participating retailers, or visiting www.Univision.com/TelethonUSA on the web.
