Haute Event: Claire Sinclair, TJ Lavin Check Out Meatball Spot

A packed Friday night at Meatball Spot in Town Square was the place to be as Claire Sinclair, Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year, and TJ Lavin, BMX pro, both came in for dinner.

Sinclair was thrilled to sample the celebrated fare by her superstar chef friend Carla Pellegrino. The brunette ordered the eatery’s signature white sangria and ordered the kitchen sink salad, along with a meatball trio and a half sheet of cheese pizza.

Lavin has quickly become a regular at the restaurant, and chose Meatball Spot to celebrate his birthday. Accompanied by his fiancée and family, the motocross athlete noshed on Pellegrino’s classic meatballs with spicy meat sauce, salad and Margherita pizza.

For dessert, the kitchen made a special birthday cake for the athlete and sent out a Cookie Explosion Milkshake. Lavin and his family also ordered a variety of ice cream sandwiches including the banana’s Foster, strawberry and the classic ice cream sandwich made with chocolate ice cream.

Lavin later took to Twitter, “Thanks @MeatballSpot and @ChefCarlaPelleg for dinner, it was amazing! The food was nuts!!”
