Drew Brees is trading in his helmet and shoulder pads for golf clubs to honor the U.S. military.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback is hosting the Drew Brees Celebrity Championship Golf Tournament in San Diego on May 17-20. It’s set around Military Appreciation Day presented by the National University System and Union Bank.

More than 50 celebrity golfers are scheduled to take part in this years event including Chace Crawford, Ray Romano NFL Hall of Fame members John Elway and Emmit Smith, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Baseball Hall of Fame member Mike Schmidt.
