Tanjong Jara Resort Tropical Diving Excursion Package

The diving season has finally arrived in Malaysia’s Pulau Tenggol, a tropical island that has some of the best diving and snorkeling sites in the world. From March to October, the wondrous waters of Terengganu Marine Park will be open to those seeking a thrilling experience, and Tanjong Jara Resort will be there to assist you on your adventure.

Tanjong Jara Resort is offering the Tenggol Diver’s Escape package, which includes three nights accommodation at the resort, daily breakfast and two days of diving with an inclusive barbecue lunch for each day. Diving equipment is available and the resort’s experienced dive instructor will accompany guests on the journey. Also available from the Water Sports Centre are a range of PADI licenses like the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver, a beginner’s introductory diving class and Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver courses. The resort’s guests will be taken on a 50-minute speedboat ride to Tenggol Island for their diving excursions.

Tenggol Island, which is situated in the South China Sea on Peninsular Malaysia’s east coast, has over 20 dive sites wit up to 30 meters of depth. Marine life that you may encounter include giant manta rays and huge double-headed parrotfish, sea turtles, black-tipped reef sharks, barracudas and even, if lucky, the largest fish in the world – the Whale Shark.
