Despite a Lackluster Season, A-Rod is Still Looking Up

Over a year after the development of the 170 building in the Upper East Side, its visionary design is still making waves. As our January/February 2006 issue predicted, Peter Marino’s integrated design of suburban living in the big city has given its residents a “new standard of family living”-to the extent that Yankees’ point man, Alex Rodriguez, 31, reportedly has his eye on one of the building’s $16 million penthouse suites.
With breathtaking views of the city from just about every angle, it’s no wonder that an athlete extraordinaire like A-Rod has his sights set on the building’s glamorous penthouse suite. If it is snazzy enough for baseball’s richest player, who knows who’s going to move in next! via NY Daily News
