Goldman Sachs Hires George W. Bush’s PR Guru

News | February 24, 2010

In need of some serious image consulting and assistance fielding the constant stream of media calls, Goldman Sachs has hired PR guru Dan Bartlett and his Public Strategies agency.

According to the Post, the number of media inquiries directed solely at the firm’s chief spokesman, Lucas Van Praag, has become too overwhelming for one man to handle. Additionally, the firm believes repairing its tarnished image should now be placed in professional hands.

With names like George W. Bush and Karl Rove on Barlett’s resume, both of which needed major image consulting, Goldman Sachs believes the Texas-headquarted PR agency is perfect for job.
