Luxury Automakers Dominate Online Searches
A Digital Luxury Group article last week determined the most searched luxury goods online and found that automakers dominated the list. The total luxury auto searches made up 48 % of the total, and out of the 10 most searched brands, six were car companies. BMW and Audi took the first and second spots of the most-searched list.
Audi took over the luxury car models searched, with four of its models in the top 15. The number one ranked luxury car model searched on Google or Bing was the Audi A4.
Fashion brands are the second most-searched luxury goods online according to the Digital Luxury Group article. If was found that fashion brands accounted for 24% of the searches. The most searched brand in fashion was Coach, which ranked third overall.
